History of the campaign

Introduction

"Millma at the foothills of Chimborazo". Its central message is the strengthening of ancestral knowledge, which is embodied in the goods and services provided by the people of the community organisation CORDTUCH and which is disseminated through social networks.

Our campaign

Millma in Kichwa means wool and, like wool, we want to weave our purpose of promoting and strengthening the community tourism promoted by the organisations that make up the Corporation for the Development of Community Tourism of Chimborazo (CORDTUCH) in Chimborazo.

The rural women of Pulinguí, based on their knowledge, produce fine garments with this fibre, which is part of the alpaca's bounty, and which they offer to travellers visiting the community.

Community organisations work in tourism as part of their actions for the conservation of the páramo and as part of their actions for productive and sustainable development. With your contribution we will invest in the improvement of our infrastructure and in the promotion of our products with identity.

Naturally, we count on you!

Our economic goal

This campaign has a fundraising target of USD 10,000. This amount will be used to improve infrastructure, the quality of the products sold, training for workers, investment in biosecurity protocols and future bioenterprises.

The aim is to promote the activities that are part of community tourism, as well as those that are part of the Condor House, which is located in the foothills of Chimborazo, showing the different goods and services provided by all the members of the community, which contributes to improving the quality of life of 500 rural families.
